Moved In and Back to Blogging Again

Getting Ready To Move House

I’m finally moved in to this little piece of cyberspace. Boxes unpacked. Things put away somewhat. The last piece to transfer was my subscribers. And, if you’re getting this via email or your WordPress Reader, then the transfer was a success! If you were following this blog some other way, like Bloglovin’, I hope you’re still getting updates. My domain didn’t change … it’s still http://less2more.com. So, really, the only one experiencing any major changes was me.

I know some of you had questions about this, so I hope to share with you in a future post what I learned from this experience of moving my blog from fully hosted WordPress.com to a self-hosted site (WordPress.org). I’ll also share some links that I found helpful and, hopefully, will help you decide what’s best for you.

Can you do me a favor though? If you got this post through your usual blog feed (email, WordPress Reader, etc.), send me a comment. That way I’ll know for sure that the subscriber migration really worked. Also, with this move, I don’t know what happened to my list of blogs that I followed. So, by commenting, I’ll have a list of your blogs that I will need to re-subscribe to.

Thank you so much for your support!

  1. Looking good, Ai!!
Glad you’re getting the hang of the self-hosted thing. 😀
This post DID show up in my WordPress Reader, so yay! Sorry you don’t have a list of the bloggers you follow… :/ That stinks.

    1. Thank you, Valerie! I appreciate your support! I think I’m going to put all my subscriptions on Bloglovin, as you mentioned before. It will be nice to have everyone’s blogs in one spot.

    1. Thanks, Christa! I’ll definitely share what I learned from this move! There are so many articles about out there about how to do this, but I’ll provide some links to what I found the most helpful. Thanks for sticking with me! 🙂
